I have been involved with the game of hockey since I was born thanks to my Grandfather.
Like many kids who grow up playing hockey, my dream was to play pro hockey until I had sustained two knee injuries at ages 13 &14.
From there I have pursued my passion on the media side of the game with Cariboo Hockey.
Before starting HockeyNorth Media I ran The RinkMasters Hockey Podcast, which featured big names like Dan Hamhuis, Eric Brewer, Mark Lamb, Jason Smith, and Jason Podollan.
I've been a passionate hockey fan since I was 5 and a fiery passion for the NHL team, Calgary Flames since 2003.
Never quite had the chance to play much hockey as a kid, but I never kept my eyes off the TV watching NHL hockey with my Dad.
I am looking to give back to the community by working with local and northern athletes in achieving a dream I once had, playing in the NHL.
My love for hockey grows daily as I spend more and more time attached to the sport and its community.
Even though I never played as a kid. I've become quite involved with the media portion of the game.
I want to be able to share this passion with the world and show how hockey can unite even the most opposites of people people together.
Growing up in Saskatchewan, hockey is part of life. Period. Over the past seven years since I have moved to Prince George I have been able to share that passion by broadcasting games for Cariboo Hockey, the Prince George Spruce Kings as well as covering the Prince George Cougars.
While I never laced up the skates as a youth, that has not stopped me from being immersed in a sport I truly love.
I look forward to showcasing our players within the region on an even higher level by producing great content for all of those alike.
